Legion Mk. U - Played by Martin Boersma

Warforged Artillerist Artificer

“As I recount my uh... tale, it is a patchwork of fragmented knowledge and yet also a sense of purpose deeply ingrained within my circuits. I know I was created to be a vessel, a containment unit for um....what...uh.... beings of immense power? and significance. My purpose was clear, but the intricacies of this containment elude my understanding. I remember my initial design, fabrication and yet the arcane blueprints etched into my digital core, while present, are not something that I can begin to comprehend. Perhaps they detail what or how these gems were meant to harness and suppress the forces within. But my story, as I remember it, is a journey interrupted. I recall the moment of activation, present within an arcanomechanical complex, and yet I.....I suppose I was never programmed to understand these concepts beyond my base firmware. The surge of energy that may have been the activation of my containment protocol feels as if it was also the moment of my reawakening with you. Recently I feel as if I have been slowly awakeing from a deep, sleep. For 300 years it would seem that, I remained in this state, unaware of the world around me, ignorant of whether my purpose had ever been fulfilled.

”Having been reactivated, this world is vastly different. The gems within myself, glimmer with an otherworldly light. Yet, the so called "gods" they were intended to imprison remained enigmatic entities, almost whispers of voices that feel like they want to take control. But their true nature is shrouded in mystery. I know I had a purpose, a mission to fulfill, but the details remain lost to the chasm of unconsciousness and I find myself with only a pressing ...urge...? to guide me. Now, I am a being caught between my intended purpose and the reality of my existence. I ostensibly carry within me the potential for immense power, yet I am unaware of how to wield it. The concept of containing multitudes feels both distant and surreal, like a story from another world. As I share my story with you, my friends, I am grateful that you have taken me in and it is with a sense of awe and curiosity, tinged with the frustration of not fully comprehending the magnitude of the task I was created for. My tale is one of mystery, of a purpose yet to be fully realized, and the endless quest for understanding in a world that has moved on without me.”

Aspect of Tymora - Played by Gillian Reed

Warforged Wild Magic Sorcerer

Tymora, more commonly known as “Lady Luck” is a god who dances the fine line between the domains of trickery and pleasure. Before the gods were contained within Legion’s crystals, Tymora was a thrillseeker who prioritized her amusement above all else. Her mortal followers were those who took risks, made mischief, and threw caution to the wind. Lady Luck would bless the with good fortune to reward their entertaining choices. In the conflict between gods and mortals, Tymora was mostly passive as she did not care to concern herself with the petty matters of politics and war. When she met the party she encouraged them to press on to the Forge and release her from the crystal so she could once again be free to pursue whatever pleases her fancy. She also encouraged the party to destroy the crystal of her twin sister, Beshaba. Beshaba is the Mistress of Cruel Misfortune and serves is both Tymora’s counterpart and sworn enemy.

Aspect of Krampus - Played by Kit Boulter

Krampus (Holiday Night Thief Rogue) Evil/Lawful

Every Jolly Ol' Elf has a shadow, and this shadow is made of spikes, whips and darts. Krampus is of the old nordic tradition of scaring little children into behaving for the nice list at the holidays, but delights in the naughtiest ones who don't heed the warnings. Armed with whips, rods and a rotten-egg-nog wit, this hairy and horned beastie will kidnap and carry off the ne'er-do-wells into their hessian sack all the way to hell. (Some parents sugar-coat that warning a little, maybe they'll only get eaten. Or beaten. Or maybe Krampus will sit on their chest and force-feed them spicy vegetables. The possibilities of their torturous methods are endless.) Bejewelled and adorned in their aspect of Legion, Krampus the metal-construct is a terrifying collection of spikes and piercings. Their inner workings are curious, as they seem to have an appetite, but do not need to eat to survive. Steam and grinding can often be heard from within, when they are acting especially rageful or cunning. Duty-bound as they are to their appointed wintery task, when the season does not call for them to accompany good ol' Saint N himself, they're much more ready to kick back and enjoy the party. Krampus is a big fan of chaotic ragers. As a dark fairy ken, they are very attentive to who has the nicest manners, and may perceive fear as the weight of a guilty conscience.

"Crack their bones, suck out the marrow, drink their mead, ask questions later, throw them into icy rivers, beat them, eat them, drown them, freeze them, and dance to the blooddrum carols of the season!"

Aspect of Nunc Coepi - Played by Cody Ray Thompson

Nunc Coepi. Renewal and rebirth. It seems fitting that my form follows the trajectory of the Gods hidden inside me as I faced death, just as the Gods did when Krynn was nearly eradicated 300 years ago. But with every rebirth comes new wisdom, and with every new wisdom comes a new suffering, and this suffering is one of self awareness and it’s illusions of choice.

Though I have never experienced this new place I am inherently part of it (being born of it), and you could say that I am indeed a product of my environment. The whispers of the Gods inside of me have grown silent in this new land, their gems simply a part of my organic and inorganic parts, likened to gems you’d discover on a dig in a strip mine or the flowers you’d pluck from a plant. Simply part of the scenery and part of some larger whole.

Their cause seems no longer to weigh on me as it once did, though I feel the need of life and survival and to quell the chaos that is antithetical to this survival. As life thrives on life so one could say the necessity with which I carry the gods is bred strictly of this singular need. Their ‘life’ in my hands, on my body, the life I propel through space and time carrying the essence of life itself. Do we send them away as a flower can sew it’s seeds elsewhere? Do we covet these lives, seal them away permanently as a crone or a hermit or a monk? Or do we destroy them, as wars have educated us in our lectures on survival of the fittest? Can one destroy the source from which one springs? Or are we the source from which they draw their powers, and therefore should tremble at our whims? What part to these gods play in our survival?
